trackNITE
Well let’s try this again. We unfortunately cancelled the first trackNITE last week due to the cold, rainy weather. The forecast for this Wednesday night currently isn’t looking great, but fingers crossed that will change.
If you haven’t read a previous post about trackNITE:
TtrackNITE will run each of the Wednesday nights from 7:30pm until 8:30pm, until August 27th.
For those of you wondering what trackNITE is, we rent the CCI track and program an endurance, running workout. It’s strictly running the track, we don’t do anything else, like burpees, or squats, etc. Just running. We open it up to any of our CrossFit Indestri members with an active monthly membership to attend. There is not an additional cost to you to attend, but we do keep it to active CrossFit Indestri members as an added bonus for you having a membership with us. Steph and I also run the workout with you. You do not need to sign in, though we do ask on our instagram story for you to take the poll ahead of time so we have an idea of how many are attending as we do have a limit on the permit so if we’re getting more, we would need to adjust the permit.
trackNITE is for everyone, those who love to run, those who are trying to love to run, those who dislike running. There is a workout programmed, run paces, etc. But if you just want to come and run the track and not do the exact workout as programmed, that’s okay too. The only thing we ask is that you participate, which means no headphones with music in, it’s a community night. And the number one rule from the school board is, no dogs are allowed in the track area.
We had a great turnout for trackNITEs last year, and hope to again this year.
So if you’re looking to add a little bit of extra endurance training to your summer, we encourage you to come out for trackNITE.
