We’re Big Fans of Hydration Salts

Hydration is important. But there’s more to staying properly hydrated than just drinking enough water, especially if you’re training hard, sweating a lot, or in the hotter weather, if the weather ever changes.

That’s where Sodii comes in.

Sodii is an everyday Hydration Salt. One we bring in to our shop Indestri retail area, all the way from Australia, because it works, it’s clean, effective, and made for people who are active like us.

If you’re not taking a hydration salt, you should consider it. When you sweat, you’re not just losing water, you’re also losing sodium, potassium, magnesium, and other key minerals that help your body function. Without those, you can feel sluggish, foggy, and can be more prone to cramps or headaches. Your performance can also drop, and you might also find your recovery suffers.

Water alone can’t replace that. In fact, drinking tons of plain water without replenishing electrolytes can actually dilute what’s left in your system and make things worse.

Why we chose Sodii?

Honestly a year ago I saw Kara Saunders post about it. I ordered it to try it myself, and I like it. Everything we sell in our shop Indestri retail area is because we also use it ourselves. So I contacted Sodii and asked if I could bring the product into our retail area. We’re the only place outside of Australia and New Zealand that sells Sodii.

Whether you’re grinding through a summer WOD, heading into a long hike, or just want to feel sharper throughout the day, adding a good hydration salt to your routine can make a big difference.

When to take it:

  • Before or during a sweaty training session

  • After a tough workout for recovery

  • First thing in the morning, especially after a night of drinking or poor sleep

  • Anytime you feel depleted or sluggish
