Team Training last fall with the Apple Kings Hockey Team and Coach Neal

Building stronger athletes, and stronger teams

Most people know us for our CrossFit classes and the work we do inside our walls every day. But what many might not know is that we also offer team training. Though we did post a blog about it not that long ago.

Our team training is rooted in the CrossFit methodology: constantly varied, functional movements performed at high intensity. When we work with sports teams, we take that foundation and layer in sport specific elements designed to carry over to the ice, the court, or the field. The goal is simple: build strength, endurance, movement quality, and overall athleticism, the kind of fitness that makes players more resilient, more confident, and better prepared for the demands of their sport.

This fall and into the winter, we’re excited to have a Girls U13 Hockey Team booked in for a 12 week training block. And during the 2025/26 season, we’ll also be doing some training for the Stayner Siskins Hockey Team.

Last year, we worked with the U14 Girls Trail Blazers Basketball Team for two separate sessions. In those sessions, we didn’t just see improvements in conditioning and strength. We saw tighter bonds form between teammates as they trained hard together outside their usual practice environment. Because at the end of the day, team training isn’t just about building stronger athletes. It’s about building stronger teams. The shared effort, the encouragement, the little victories inside the gym, those moments carry over when it’s game time.

If you have know of a sports team that would benefit from some dedicated training this season, reach out to us. Whether it’s hockey, basketball, soccer, or another sport, we’d love to help more teams develop their fitness, sharpen their edge, and grow as a team.

We do have limited availability to book, so don’t wait, email us at indestri@gmail.com to learn more.

REMINDER: No Class on Saturday. We’re closed as we’re hosting the CrossFit Canada Affiliate Summit - Ontario this weekend.
