Quarterfinals Weekend

First off, congratulations again to all of our athletes who have qualified for the 2026 CrossFit Quarterfinals.

The Plan

Based on the number of athletes, the workout structure, timing requirements, and making sure we don’t interfere with regular classes, we’ve put together what we believe is the best possible schedule for the weekend.

As always, this is our current plan, and we’ll adjust if needed as things unfold.

Friday

Athletes will take on Workout 1 Friday afternoon.

  • Athletes can arrive and begin warming up at 1:00pm

  • First heat will start at 1:30pm

If you’re coming in to support, or if you’re a registered judge and able to help, plan to be in around 1:20pm.

Saturday

The remaining three workouts will be completed on Saturday, spaced out to allow for recovery, fuelling, etc.

  • Athletes can arrive at 11:00am to start preparing

  • First workout will begin at 12:00pm

If you’re coming in to watch and support, aim to be there around 11:45am please.

The order we’re currently planning, based on recovery, movement, and timing, is:

  • Workout 4 – 12:00pm

  • Workout 3 – approximately 2:30pm

  • Workout 2 – approximately 5:00pm

This order is subject to change, but based on experience and how these weekends typically play out, this looks like the best approach to allow athletes to recover and perform well across all four workouts.

Community & Judges

For this to run smoothly, we need:

  • Registered judges

  • Energy in the room

If you’re able to judge and are registered, your help is appreciated.

If you’re not judging, come be part of it. Show up, support, and help create the environment that makes weekends like this what they are. We’ve given you the times as supporters so you know when then workouts will go, but also please don’t arrive too early, as the athletes do need time to get warm and prepare without distractions. Warm up areas at competitions are typically out of the way of spectators so that athletes can warm up properly.

Quarterfinals is a different kind of test. It’s not just about fitness, it’s about how you manage a full weekend of effort, and recovery, fuelling your body, and mindset between.

We’re looking forward to seeing our athletes take it on, and supporting them through the weekend.

PLEASE NOTE: If you are an athlete who is doing Quarterfinals, you are taking Thursday as a rest day. Thursday, is our annual Grace for Grace WOD. You are not doing Grace on Thursday, to do Grace again as part of workout 4 on Saturday.
