Christmas has come early

It looks like Christmas has come a little early around here.

We’ve added:

  • New barbell clips to keep your lifts secure.

  • New licorice skipping ropes to help with crossover’s

  • New pull up bands

  • Two brand new kids barbells for our youth programs

We’re always working to make sure you have the best in equipment and training tools to help you move better, safer, and more efficiently. These additions are a small way to keep improving your experience and your training, (though many are replacing ones that have been damaged).

A quick and important reminder: please don’t use Fit Wipes on the new pull up bands. As the solution in the wipes causes the bands to become sticky and damaged and they wear out way too quickly.

We thank you for taking care of the equipment and treating it like your own, it’s what keeps our space running smoothly and ready for all the hard work you put in every day.

Background: This hero workout is dedicated to Royal Canadian Mounted Police Constable Heidi Stevenson who died on April 19, 2020, while protecting others during a mass shooting that took place in the Canadian province of Nova Scotia.

The rep scheme signifies the number of years she served in the force.

We first saw this workout posted by CrossFit NCR @crossfitncr (Ottawa, Canada) to honor Cst. Stevenson.
