trackNITE next week

trackNITE kicks off next week.

For those of you who have been around for a while, you know what it is. For those who are newer, you’re about to find out.

What started back in 2016 has become one of our favourite parts of the summer.

No barbells. No rigs. No distractions. Just running.

Wednesdays at 7:30pm, we meet at the CCI track and spend an hour working on something a lot of CrossFit like to avoid. We work on, pacing, consistency, and learning how to stay uncomfortable a little longer.

Some of you love it.
Some of you are still trying to love it.
Either way, you keep showing up, and that’s what matters.

A few things to know before you come out:

We do have a couple of rules we need to follow while we’re there.

  • We have use of the track only

  • No dogs allowed (this is a Simcoe School Board rule)

  • Please leave your AirPods at home

That last one matters to us, because trackNITE is about coming together as a group. It’s about being present, pushing and sharing that experience. Music tunes you out. We want you in it with us.

A couple of logistical things: You don’t need to sign in on Zen Planner for trackNITE. But we do post a poll on our Instagram stories every Wednesday asking who’s coming. Please take a second to answer it. It helps us get a rough idea of numbers for the night.

trackNITE is something we offer as an added bonus for our members. There’s no extra fee to attend. Steph and I are out there with you every week, running the sessions and doing the work alongside you.

We meet at 7:30pm sharp, and we have the track for one hour. At the end of that hour, we need to wrap things up, lock the track, and head out. That’s it. Pretty simple.

If you’ve never come out before, give it a shot. You don’t need to be a “runner.”
You don’t need to be fast. You just need to show up. Because like most things in here,
the magic isn’t in being the best at it. It’s in doing the work.
