Thank You
This morning our CrossFit Indestri community came together once again for the Hike for Hospice, and we just wanted to take a moment to say thank you.
Thank you to everyone who came out, laced up their shoes, and joined us for the 6km walk this morning. It makes us incredibly proud of the community we have here at CrossFit Indestri.
We often talk about community in CrossFit, but moments like this are where it truly shows itself. Not just inside the gym, and not just during a workout. But out in the community, coming together to support something bigger than ourselves.
Giving back has always been important to us.
Some of you will remember the years we put teams into the Canadian Breast Cancer Foundation CIBC Run for the Cure. One year alone we had over 100 athletes registered under our team, which was amazing. Showing up for causes and organizations that matter has always been part of who we are, and something we deeply value.
A few years ago, when Steph’s grandfather entered Hospice, we joined the Hike for Hospice for the first time. That experience made an impact on all of us, and since then it has become something we continue to support year after year. To see so many of you continue to stand beside us in that means more than we can properly put into words.
We also want to thank everyone who couldn’t make it out this morning but still donated to the team. Your support matters just as much. Together, as a CrossFit Indestri team, we raised just over $3,000 this year. Which is wonderful. And while the forecast looked questionable for a bit, the weather actually turned out pretty okay for a 6km walk, which was a nice bonus.

Thank you for continuing to prove that what we’ve built here at CFI extends far beyond the walls of the gym.
We may train as individuals, but time and time again, you remind us that we show up as a community.
