Open Workout 26.2 – This Saturday

Week two of the CrossFit Open is here, and we’re looking forward to another incredible Saturday together.

Just like last week, we’ll be running heats throughout the morning, and all the logistics will remain the same. Parking, arrival times, athlete and judges briefing, and heat sign ups will follow the same format as 26.1 to help keep things running smoothly for everyone.

The theme for this week’s workout is Monochrome.

So whether you choose black, white, pink, blue or a single colour from head to toe, we encourage you to have a little fun with it and lean into the theme. The Open is about testing ourselves, but it’s also about creating an atmosphere that’s exciting, supportive, and memorable.

Speaking of atmosphere, one of the things that makes the Open so special in our facility is the energy in the room.

We encourage everyone in the community to come out and be part of it. Even if you’re not competing, come spectate, cheer, and support your fellow athletes. If you’re willing to help judge, we would be incredibly grateful. Judging is a big part of making the Open possible, and we truly appreciate those who step up to help.

For those of you competing, we also encourage you to stick around after your heat is finished. Some of the best moments of the Open happen after you’ve completed your own workout. Cheering on your friends, counting their reps, and helping them push through tough moments is what makes this community so special.

We also have a little bit of exciting news to share.

CrossFit HQ’s media team reached out to Emma earlier this week and have contracted her to capture content for them during the next two Open workouts. Emma always does an incredible job capturing the energy and spirit inside our walls, and we’re very proud that CrossFit HQ has asked her to do the same for them.

With that in mind, we would love to see the facility packed with the incredible energy that makes this community so special. Let’s fill the space with athletes, judges, and spectators cheering each other on as we tackle week two together.
