What your favourite movement might say about you

We all have that one movement that makes us light up when it shows up on the whiteboard. The one that makes us say: “Okay, today might not be so bad.”

But your favourite movement might says more about you than you think...

Let’s break some down:

Deadlifts
You’re no nonsense. Practical. A workhorse.
You like movements that are straight to the point, just pick it up and put it down. You don’t care about looking fancy, you care about getting things done. You're also probably not the one doing 47 warm up sets. You’re more of a lets just load the bar and go.

Wall Balls
You love chaos.
Deep down, you enjoy a little suffering. You pretend to hate them, but you secretly smile when you see a big set programmed. Also: your squat endurance is quietly terrifying.

Double Unders
You live for finesse.
You probably own more jump ropes than shoes and still chase the perfect whip. You’ve experienced jump rope rage, shin welts, and existential doubt… and kept coming back for more. You’re stubborn and proud of it.

Toes to Bar
You like to fly under the radar, until it’s time to shine.
You’re strong, coordinated, and oddly good at stringing things together while looking casual about it. Your kip game is dialed, and yes, we’re all a little jealous.

Handstand Push Ups
You’re dramatic in the best way.
You love a little flair. You're not just here for fitness, you're here for the moment. You’re that friend who says, “Hold my drink,” and does a handstand at a party. You're upside down more than most people are upright.

Snatches
You chase perfection.
You love a technical challenge and don’t mind failing 10 times to get it right once. You post slow-mo lifting videos. You use words like “pull under” and “catch position” in casual conversation.

Running
You’re either a unicorn… or lying.
If you genuinely love running, we admire you. You're mentally tough, steady, and oddly cheerful about things most people dread. If you say you love running and burpees? You might just be a robot.

Burpees
You're chaotic good.
You thrive in discomfort, don’t mind looking ridiculous, and secretly love it when everyone else groans. You’re the person who says, “Let’s just start!” in group workouts. No one knows how you do it. Not even you.

Rope Climbs
You have strong “main character energy.”
You love a challenge and a little drama. Nothing gets your heart rate up like a high ceiling. You probably yelled “no rep” at someone once, lovingly, of course.

Box Jumps
You’re confident, explosive, and occasionally reckless.
You’ve definitely clipped your shins at least once and wore the scars like a badge of honor. You still want to go for the rebound.

Rowing
You love control.
You pace, you strategize, and you probably have a favourite damper setting. You talk about meters like normal people talk about steps. You are quietly competitive and more tactical than people realize.

Cleans
You’re smooth under pressure.
You love the feel of a good pull and the rhythm of a solid lift. Fast elbows? Yes please. You’re a little flashy, a little powerful, and very “don’t talk to me mid lift.”

Assault Bike
You are a different breed.
You willingly choose suffering. You say things like “I actually like the bike,” and you mean it. You’re tough, gritty, and have a high tolerance for discomfort, and possibly, therapy.

Pull Ups
You’re sneaky strong.
Whether it’s strict, kipping, or butterfly, you’ve put in the work. People assume you’re just “naturally good” at gymnastics, but really, you’ve grinded. You probably remember the exact day you got your first one.

Tire Flips
You’re here to unleash something.
You like the raw, primal feeling of flipping something heavy and dirty. You’re explosive, a little wild, and honestly kind of terrifying (in a good way of course).

Atlas Stones
You love odd objects and controlled chaos.
You don’t need barbells, you want something awkward, heavy, and completely unforgiving. You're strong, gritty, and always down to get a little bruised in the process.

Of course, you don’t have to pick just one.
That’s the beauty of CrossFit, you’ll probably love what you once hated, and hate what you once loved (looking at you, thrusters).

Of course this was all in good fun, but now be honest, what’s your go to movement, and how accurate was this?
