What has CrossFit given you?
Yesterday on our social media, we asked a simple question:
What has CrossFit given you?
The answers we received weren’t about movements or PRs, they were about the things that truly matter. Many of you shared words like confidence, strength, friendship, community, discipline, grit, health, and belief in yourself.
And the three most common answers?
Confidence. Strength. Friendship.
Three things that have nothing to do with the whiteboard and everything to do with what happens when you show up for yourself day after day.
Confidence
CrossFit has a way of showing you what you’re capable of, sometimes long before you see it yourself. You walk in unsure, maybe a little nervous, and slowly you start stacking small wins. A pull up. A heavier lift. A workout you never thought you could finish.
That confidence doesn’t stay in the gym.
It spills into your work, your relationships, your decision making.
You start trusting yourself more.
And that’s one of the greatest gifts training can give you.
Strength
Not just physical strength, though yes, you get plenty of that too.
We’re talking about the strength to hold on for one more rep, to keep moving when you’re tired, to show up on the days you don’t feel motivated. That kind of strength shows up in real life as much as it does in a workout.
It’s the strength that helps you shovel your driveway with ease.
Carry your groceries, move your furniture or simply live your life with more ease and resilience.
CrossFit makes everyday life easier, and that’s real strength.
Friendship
This one came up again and again, and it makes total sense.
You don’t just train beside people here, you go through hard things together. You sweat together, laugh together, fist bump each other when you’re out of breath. You celebrate wins, you support each other through moments, and you build friendships that exist far beyond class times.
The friendships built in a CrossFit gym are different.
They’re honest, they’re raw, as you allow these people to see you at your most vulnerable, and they become a big part of why you come day, after day.
As owners and coaches, hearing your answers reminds us why we care so much about what we do at CrossFit Indestri.
This community gives more than fitness. It gives you confidence, strength, friendship, and a sense of belonging. It gives you a place to challenge yourself, grow, and be surrounded by people who are cheering for you.
These responses meant a lot to us, and we hope reading them reminds you of your own “why.” Thank you to those who answered.
